Orto Coffee

( case study )

A coffee bar in Porto wanted its second and third shops to feel like the first one. We built the sign, the counter and the cups around one bean-shaped mark.

The Orto Coffee bar: a long orange counter with white stools and a round orange sign on the wall

( task )

Orto had one busy bar near the river and two new leases signed. The founder worried that a chain would lose the warmth regulars came for, and the old logo did not scale.

Orange and white Orto takeaway cups and a kraft paper bag on a stone counter

( solution )

We drew a single bean as a soft stroke and hung it on a round sign over the street. An orange counter runs the length of each shop, so the room itself carries the brand.
