How to know your brand is worth more than last year

Most companies judge a rebrand by how it looks on launch day. We judge it by what happens to five numbers over the next twelve months.

The five numbers

  1. Share of people who name you without a prompt
  2. Price you can charge before deals slow down
  3. Cost of one qualified lead
  4. Time a new hire needs to say yes
  5. Share of revenue from returning clients

None of them needs an expensive study. Three come from your CRM, one from a short survey and one from your hiring team.

“The logo changed in a week. The price we could ask changed in a year, and that paid for everything.”

The one that tells you the most

If you track only one, track price. A brand that works lets you raise prices without losing deals, and the gap shows up in the sales report long before it shows up in any survey.

We set the baseline before the first workshop and check it again at three, six and twelve months. Clients get the same one-page report each time, so the trend is easy to read.
